Waikelo port is the only cruise port in West Sumba.

Pasola is a unique traditional ceremony of the Sumbanese held in the way of sympathically traditional norms, every year in February and March. The spectacular ceremony features two groups of men brandishing spears while riding horses at full gallop. The performance demonstrates great horsemanship and courage.
